3) Common Bermuda:

Warm season grass—tolerant to extreme heat, goes dormant (turns a browner shade) during autumn and winter months
Sod or sprigs

No. We have types that are more tolerable to a sun/shade combination, but not 100% shade.

During installation and immediately after sod is laid you need to soak the grass until the clay under it is moist. During hot weather, it is especially important to soak the sod frequently. Once established, depending on season, water as needed to maintain growth and coloring.

Measure the length x width of the area you are wanting to sod, taking into consideration any unique or unusual features in the area. We recommend adding 10% of that for waste.

Depending on the area for sod installation, we recommend tilling the area with a rototiller or by hand, removing all weeds and debris, placing topsoil or compost if needed, and applying fertilizer.
